Model and actress Nadia Hussain has been booked under the PECA Act for levelling allegation of demanding bribe against an FIA officer on social media platforms.
FIA officials say that Nadia Hussain was told that the bribe seeker was not an FIA officer but a fraudster.
The actress was also told that the fraudster called you by putting a picture of the FIA officer on the DP and demanded a bribe.
Officials said that the actress was instructed to file a complaint against the fraudster at the Cyber Crime Reporting Center Karachi, but instead of doing so, she gave a statement on social media.
According to FIA officials, the fraudster belongs to Vehari and will be arrested soon. Despite all this information being provided, Nadia Hussain made false allegations on social media.
The FIA Cyber Crime Wing Karachi has taken cognizance of the matter and started a formal investigation against the actress under the PECA Act.
