Threat of complete US travel ban on Pakistanis averted?

Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani has said that the possibility of a complete ban on Pakistanis traveling to the US seems to have been averted, now only the issuance of visas is being limited.
Without naming the PTI, he said those who brought revolution in Pakistan sitting in the US should pay attention to this issue.
Meanwhile, senior politician Mushahid Hussain Syed termed the proposed list as a political decision of the US government and advised the Pakistan government to impose retaliatory sanctions on Americans in case of sanctions.
Mushahid Hussain further said that India is among the three countries from where the highest number of illegal immigrants come to America, but India’s name is not included in the proposed list.
Apart from this, former ambassador Maleeha Lodhi said that according to her information, there will be no travel restrictions on Pakistanis but there will be strictness in getting visas.
The Trump administration is considering proposals to impose travel restrictions on citizens of 43 countries, including Pakistan.
