Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra camera specs leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is not going to be releasing this year, however, it beefed up camera specs already leaked online.
Samsung hasn’t made any significant specs jump in last couple of years. The Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Galaxy S24 Ultra have a similar camera setup, but software tweaks made a whole lot of difference between both devices.
However, for the S25 Ultra’s successor, the company is finally planning to beef up it camera specs in order to compete with the market demands.
There is no denying that the current camera in Samsung’s flagship device is top notch. But the spec boost is due with high demand of the market.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will bring one of the more significant camera upgrades that we’ve seen for the flagship model yet.
A poster on X claims that the primary 200-megapixel sensor on the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature variable aperture between f/1.4 and f/4.0. It would provide you with far more control in a wider range of lighting conditions.
Variable aperture is not new for Samsung. They did it with the Galaxy S9 could switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4 apertures.
Its 50-megapixel camera isn’t all too exciting. Both existing sensors are said to be replaced, with the 10-megapixel 3x being swapped with a 50-megapixel sensor with 3.5x optical zoom.
The second 50 MP sensor is claimed to have 8x zoom and 184mm focal length, an upgrade over the 50-megapixel 5x on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
If all of this materializes, it’s going to make a lot of Samsung fans very happy.
There are also rumors that Samsung might remove one of the two zoom sensors altogether. It’s evidently a fluid situation right now as the phone is still about a year away.
