Buckingham Palace releases new update about King Charles health

Buckingham Palace has issued a fresh update on King Charles’ health, confirming that he had a restful weekend at Highgrove following his recent hospital visit.

Royal expert Kate Mansey shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), posting a statement from the palace regarding the monarch’s condition. She wrote, “NEW: Good news about the King’s health from Buckingham Palace following his hospital visit last week. Aides say that the King had a restful weekend at Highgrove and is now heading to Windsor Castle to resume his usual working week, including public and private meetings alongside State duties.”

Another royal expert, Rebecca English, echoed a similar update, stating, “NEW: After a ‘restful’ weekend at Highgrove, the King will be at Windsor Castle today for a typical working week. While there are a few minor adjustments to his schedule, he will continue with investitures, meetings, credential presentations, and public engagements—all ahead of his upcoming state visit to Italy on Monday.”

Additionally, royal correspondent Cameron Walker noted that despite experiencing a setback due to a reaction to his cancer treatment last Thursday, which required medical attention, the King is preparing for his official visit to Italy next week.
