SNGPL issues latest gas supply and loadshedding schedule

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has issued a new schedule for gas supply and loadshedding to ensure consistent gas pressure for consumers.

The latest schedule is announced to facilitate consumers effectively plan their cooking and daily activities.

Currently, the consumers in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and surrounding areas are facing gas loadshedding. The SNGPL said after Ramazan, the gas will only be available during designated mealtimes.

The revised gas schedule allows consumers to access gas during three designated time periods: 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The new plan has been issued to assist consumers.

Under the latest schedule: 6 AM to 9 AM in the morning for preparing breakfast and heating; 12 PM to 2 PM for midday cooking; and from 6 PM to 9 PM for dinner.

The SNGPL said the company adjusted the gas hours as per the government directives.

It assured consumers gas would be supplied at full pressure.

The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited serves over 7.22 million customers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and other regions of the country.
