Latest Cement Prices in Pakistan Today: April 2025 Update

Cement prices in Pakistan have experienced slight fluctuations amid slower sales, with local cement despatches nearing 3 million tonnes. Prices for cement are generally holding steady between Rs1,300 and Rs1,400 per tonne.

Cement dispatches in March 2025 recorded 3.569 million tonnes, showing a drop in year-on-year terms – 9.48% lower than March 2024. Although overall dispatches declined, price reductions increased demand, especially in the south where dispatches was up 3.96% at 1.12 million tonnes. Deliveries in the north declined by 14.54%, down to 2.450 million tonnes.

In April 2025 cement prices continued to fluctuate from Rs1,325 to Rs1,400, with DG Khan and Maple Leaf Cement getting the highest prices from the suppliers and retailers. Steel prices remain consistent across cities, with local/country steel priced between Rs226,000 and Rs232,000 depending upon the city with branded material hovered around Rs2.5 lakh. Price fluctuations suggest some upward price movement in materials across to the construction sector and impacted decision-making for investment in the broader economy.
