UAE Emirates ID renewal fee for Pakistan nationals -April 2025
All UAE nationals and residents, including those from Pakistan and the Philippines, must have a valid Emirates ID. This ID is required by law and can be checked at any time by security officials for identification.
The Emirates ID is also utilized for accessing government services, and UAE citizens can use it as a travel document in GCC countries. If someone does not have a valid Emirates ID, they could potentially be fined or faced with legal consequences.
Residents must renew their Emirates ID within 30 days of expiry to avoid penalties. Renewal can only be done after renewing or reissuing the residence visa.
Where to Apply
You can apply for renewal on the ICP website, through the ICP app (available on Google Play and App Store), or at an approved typing center.
Documents Needed
- Valid passport
- Proof of valid or under-process residence permit
- A personal photo with a white background
- For children under 15: birth certificate, parent’s passport or Emirates ID
Emirates ID Card Renewal Fee April 2025
- 1-year validity: AED 170
- 2-year validity: AED 340
- 3-year validity: AED 510
