Finn Wolfhard Opens Up About Emotional and Mysterious Stranger Things 5 Finale
Finn Wolfhard has offered fans a rare peek into the emotional final chapter of Stranger Things. As season 5 gears up for its long-awaited release on Netflix, the actor behind Mike Wheeler shared his thoughts on how it all wraps up—without giving too much away.
Speaking to People magazine, Wolfhard reflected on his character’s ending, saying, “I was so happy with his ending, and I don’t know, I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy.” He admitted that filming the last season was overwhelming: “I felt like I was in a dream or something… None of it felt real. I don’t know, it felt perfect.”
Describing the final shooting day, Wolfhard added, “I just couldn’t believe it at all… It was like an emotional hangover. But it ended really well, and I just have such positive things to say about everyone.” He also revealed, “The cast all stayed for the last day, we were all there together. It was really great to be around each other.”
Creators the Duffer Brothers previously shared that Stranger Things season 5 concludes the original story arc, calling the ending “inevitable” and “absolutely what it has to be.”
