Salman Khan once again comes under threat, Receives bomb attack warning

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again come under threat, with Mumbai Police confirming a fresh death warning was issued against him on Monday.

As reported by Indian media, the threat was delivered through WhatsApp to the official number of the Worli Transport Department. The chilling message reportedly included warnings of a potential attack at Khan’s residence and threats to bomb his vehicle.

Worli Police have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation to trace the sender of the message. Authorities are approaching the situation with heightened seriousness, especially in light of previous threats against the actor.

This latest warning adds to a series of past threats believed to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang is suspected to hold a grudge against Khan over his alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case — a significant issue for the Bishnoi community, which considers the blackbuck a sacred animal.

Salman Khan’s security concerns have escalated over the years. In a separate case last year, two individuals were caught trying to enter his Panvel farmhouse using fake identification. In 2023, he also received a threatening email allegedly from gangster Goldy Brar, and back in 2022, a note with threats was discovered outside his Bandra residence.

Addressing the matter publicly, Salman Khan said he has placed his trust in God and Allah, believing that his life will last only as long as it’s meant to. He added that he has come to accept the situation, even though it has significantly limited his lifestyle. The actor now restricts his movements between his home in Galaxy Apartments and film sets, and shared that while he feels safer in the presence of media, he becomes uneasy when alone.
