PSL 10: United dominate as Zalmi face another defeat
Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 102 runs in the fifth match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.
Batting first, Islamabad United scored 243 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Islamabad United’s Sahibzada Farhan played an innings of 106 runs, completing his century off 49 balls, which included 13 fours and 4 sixes.
Apart from them, Colin Munro scored 40 and Salman Agha scored 30 runs.
Joseph and Hussain Talat took 2 wickets each for Peshawar Zalmi.
Chasing a target of 244 runs, Peshawar Zalmi were bundled out for 141 runs and the entire team was dismissed in the 19th over.
Muhammad Haris was the standout for Peshawar Zalmi with 87 runs.
Apart from him, no batsman could stay on the wicket. Captain Babar Azam could score one run, Saim Ayub scored 6 runs, Hussain Talat played an innings of 13 runs.
This was the second match between the two teams in the event. Islamabad United now has 4 points, while Peshawar Zalmi is waiting for a win.
