Security forces kill four Khawarij in Swat joint operation

Rawalpindi: Four Khawarij were killed in a joint operation by security forces and law enforcement agencies in Swat.

According to the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces and law enforcement agencies conducted an operation in Swat based on intelligence information about the presence of Khawarij.

The ISPR further added that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the Khawarij killed during the operation, while the killed Khawarij were involved in several acts of terrorism.

The ISPR says that the security forces are determined to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.

During the conduct of operation, the troops surrounded and effectively engaged the khawarij location, and after intense fire exchange, two khawarij including a high value target, khawarij Hafeezullah @ Kochwan were sent to hell.

Khawarij Hafeezullah @ Kochwan was involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as the innocent civilians.

He was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies and government had fixed head money of Rs10 million on him.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other khawarij found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
