Minahil Malik Alleges Over Use of Private Video in Umair Awan’s Song

Popular TikToker Minahil Malik is at the center of a fresh controversy after accusing singer Umair Awan of using her private video clip without consent in his recently released music video Laareya.

In a video statement shared on her official TikTok account, Minahil expressed serious concerns over the unauthorized use of a personal clip, demanding the immediate removal of the video. “This song shows content from my private life, which is completely unacceptable,” she said, giving Umair Awan a 24-hour ultimatum to take down the video or face legal action, including the filing of an FIR.

Umair Awan, in response, rejected the allegations and refused to comply. “I won’t delete my song under any kind of pressure,” he stated, challenging the TikToker to pursue whatever course of action she deems necessary.

The music video Laareya, which premiered on YouTube three days ago, has already surpassed 99,000 views and is gaining more traction amidst the controversy.

Minahil Malik, known for her strong digital presence under the handle @minahilmalik727 on TikTok and Instagram, commands an impressive following of 9.2 million and 1.8 million on the respective platforms. She also remains active on Snapchat with the username minahil_727.

This incident adds to Minahil’s history of controversies, including previous issues involving viral videos allegedly linked to her private life. Reflecting on the recurring nature of such issues, she remarked that the current video is fake and insisted she is no longer concerned about public opinion regarding her.
