13 October, 2026 11:29

Criminal networks operating from India and spreading internationally have raised concerns about the policies of the Modi government.

According to Indian publication The Hans India, the Chief Minister of Telangana alleged that the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah had turned Goa into a hub for drug-related activities.

Indian newspaper Deccan Chronicle reported that people in Goa were becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the Modi government because of the BJP’s policies.

A recent report by the US Department of Justice has also highlighted the activities of Indian criminal networks operating internationally.

Experts on international affairs say the alleged growth of drug trafficking and international crime under state patronage raises serious questions about the policies of the Modi government.
