Fawad Khan is making a much-anticipated return to Bollywood with Abir Gulaal, set to release on May 9, 2025. Co-starring Vaani Kapoor, the film’s buzz skyrocketed after a magical music launch at Dubai’s Global Village, where fans got a glimpse of the lead pair’s sizzling chemistry.

The night was nothing short of spectacular. Music director Amit Trivedi wowed the crowd with a soulful live performance, while Fawad and Vaani lit up the stage with their presence. The highlight? Fawad Khan serenading the audience with Kuch Naa Kaho as the film’s teaser played in the background. The crowd roared in excitement, especially when the duo danced together to the track Khudaya Ishq, sending fans into a frenzy on social media.

Photos and clips from the event have gone viral, and Global Village’s official Instagram shared a carousel of moments with the caption, “Wonderful night with the stars of Abir Gulaal at Global Village! However, the film is also facing political heat. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has demanded a ban on the film’s release in the state. MNS leader Ameya Khopkar stated, “We will not allow any film featuring Pakistani artists to be released in Maharashtra. I dare them to release it.”

Directed by Aarti S Bagdi, Abir Gulaal promises both cinematic magic and controversy ahead of its May release.
