UAE Emirati Passport renewal fee for Nationals – April 2025

UAE nationals can renew their passports up to 6 months before expiry, and even immediately after expiry. Keeping your passport current is important when preparing to travel abroad!

With a UAE passport, holders can go to 179 countries, including 134 visa-free, 45 visa on arrival or eVisa, and just 19 where you need to apply for a visa ahead of time.

How to Renew a UAE Passport

UAE nationals can renew their passports through different methods:

1. Online Services

• Use the ICP website or the UAEICP app (available on Google Play and App Store).
• Log in using UAE Pass or your username.
• Search for the passport renewal service.
• Fill in the form and pay the fee (if any).

2. Customer Happiness Centers

• Visit your nearest center.
• Take a ticket and wait your turn.
• Submit your application with required documents.
• Pay the fee and get confirmation by email.

• Issuance Fee: AED 40
• Delivery Fee: AED 15

Total: AED 65 to renew your Emirati passport.
