Indian airlines’ flight operations badly affected due to Pakistan airspace closure

Closure of Pakistani airspace has badly hit Indian airlines’ flight operations.
More fuel is being consumed for flights from India to the US and the Europe while tickets have also become expensive.
In 2019, Indian airlines lost 700 billion rupees due to the closure of Pakistani airspace after the Balakot attack.
Closure of Pakistani airspace also increased fuel costs and operational complications for Indian airlines.
Flights from India to Central Asia, Western Europe, West Asia, the UK and the US are affected.
Other airlines to and from India via Pakistan will continue to operate.
Experts said that ban on Indian airlines will benefit other airlines.
