Brazilian Child Star Milena Brandao Dies at Age 11 After Multiple Heart Attacks

Milena Brandão, a young Brazilian actress, has sadly passed away at the age of 11. She died on Friday, May 2, after suffering several heart attacks. Milena had been in a serious condition in the hospital for a few days.

The young star was first taken to a health unit on April 29. She was having very strong headaches. At first, doctors thought she had dengue. Dengue is a viral infection that causes high fever and joint pain. But later, doctors found something more serious.

Just days before her death, Milena’s mother, Thays Brandão, said that doctors had diagnosed her daughter with a brain tumour. The tumour had caused her health to get worse very fast.

Milena was treated in the hospital, but her condition did not improve. Reports say she went through 21 cardiorespiratory arrests before she passed away. This means her heart and breathing stopped 21 times. Doctors tried to save her, but sadly, she could not survive.

Milena was a rising star and had a big following on Instagram. She had more than 196,000 fans on the platform. Her followers loved her bright smile and energy.

After her death, her mother Thays posted a very emotional message on Instagram. She said:

“The memories we spent together will remain in my memory and I’ll never forget your joy that was contagious to everyone around you.

My girl, I’m already missing you not being here and I know I’ll miss you even more in the days to come. You were the light in our lives and I know that from up there you’ll continue to watch over us and light up our lives. And I’ll love you forever, and you’ll always be in my heart.”
