Ex-Governor IOJK calls Modi ‘Shameless’ over Pahalgam attack

Satya Pal Malik, the last governor of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK), told The Wire in an interview that Prime Minister Modi is “shameless” and “cowardly.” 

Malik said that Modi should apologize to the country for the Pahalgam attack.

The former governor added that the Pahalgam attack is a huge security failure.

In addition, according to my information, the government had intelligence reports, but they did nothing.

Satya Pal also took a dig at Modi for not praising the Kashmiri people for their strong response to the Pahalgam attack.

Moreover, Modi’s failure to attend the all-party meeting is a sign of “arrogance.”

He stated that Modi gains political advantage by continuing Hindu-Muslim division in India.

It should be noted that Satya Pal was the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir during the 2019 Pulwama attack.

Kashmir security review meetings held by Amit Shah a few days before the Pahalgam attack were nothing more than social gatherings.

Along with Modi, the current Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, is responsible for security.

Governor Minhaj Sinha should have accepted moral responsibility and resigned immediately.

Unfortunately, around 2000 Kashmiri Muslims were arrested on religious grounds.

Malik criticized the Indian media for not reporting on the treatment of Kashmiri Muslims in India.
