Moment of Silence Held in PSL to Honor Victims of Indian Aggression
A moment of silence was observed before the 26th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 to pay tribute to the martyrs of recent Indian cross-border aggression.
The solemn ceremony took place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium ahead of the clash between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators.
As a mark of respect, Pakistan’s national anthem was played, and players, officials, and spectators stood together in unity to remember the victims.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that despite the cross-border tension, PSL matches will continue as planned, emphasizing the nation’s resilience and commitment to sportsmanship even in times of crisis.
Details of the Attack
According to official sources, Indian military forces launched nighttime strikes on several civilian areas in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bagh, as well as parts of Punjab, notably Muridke and Ahmedpur Sharqia.
The attacks reportedly killed 26 civilians, including two children, and injured 46 others. Two mosques were also destroyed.
