Hania Aamir Calls Out People for Falsely Using Her Name to Gain Attention Online

15 May, 2025 13:13

Pakistani star Hania Aamir has had enough of fake news—and she’s making it clear.

With 18.6 million followers, Hania is Pakistan’s most-followed actress on Instagram. But her popularity also makes her a frequent target for clickbait and misinformation. Recently, she clapped back after a viral video falsely used her name to gain attention online.

Sharing the video in her Instagram story—which featured mobile camera tips—Hania clarified that the post had nothing to do with her. She called the claim “fake and fabricated,” using the moment to address the wider issue of misinformation on social media.

“Although it’s not that serious, you people write anything, say anything, and talk about yourself,” she wrote. “Anyone says anything and you agree. You keep playing with each other… what are you doing?”

She went on to urge followers to verify content before blindly trusting or spreading it, making a firm stand against the casual spread of lies online.

This isn’t the first time Hania has had to clear her name. Earlier, a fake Instagram story circulated, falsely claiming she appealed to Indian PM Narendra Modi after the Pahalgam attack. Hania quickly debunked it, saying: “I have nothing to do with this post. It’s fake.”

Another rumor suggested she had made a separate Instagram account for Indian fans, which she also denied: she only has one official profile.

With her latest response, Hania once again reminded fans to think twice before believing everything they see online.
