India Pakistan region war
Islamabad: Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan says that India pushed the entire region into war, and Pakistan responded to Indian aggression.
Briefing reporters, Foreign Office Spokesperson Khan said that Pakistan has proven that there will be no compromise on honor and dignity. Operation Banyan Marsus was launched against Indian aggression. Pakistan’s armed forces shot down 6 Indian warplanes.
He said that the ceasefire was made possible through the efforts of several friendly countries. We appreciate the role of friendly countries in achieving the ceasefire. If there is any aggression in the future, it will be responded to with full force.
Refusing to comment on the Afghan Defense Minister’s alleged secret visit to India, he said that we recognize India and Afghanistan as sovereign and independent states. A policy of mutual respect and non-interference is essential for regional peace.
However, we do not comment on any country’s relations with other countries; every state has the right to formulate its own foreign policy in an independent capacity.
He said that Pakistan believes in peaceful resolution of issues, expects friendly countries not to use their relations against Pakistan, Pakistan is a sovereign state and has the right to protect its integrity, and a balance should be observed between the visits of European ministers to both Pakistan and India.
