Bilawal Bhutto Hails Ceasefire as Major Diplomatic Success, Urges Sustained Peace in the Region
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assigned PPP Chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari the responsibility of representing Pakistan’s “case for peace” on the international stage, following the recent military tensions with India.
In a post on X, Bilawal shared that the prime minister had contacted him earlier in the day and asked him to lead a delegation to advocate for peace on behalf of Pakistan globally. He expressed his honor in accepting the role and affirmed his dedication to serving the nation during these challenging times.

According to the PPP, the delegation will also work to expose Indian aggression and counter its false narratives before the international community. The government has not yet disclosed further details about the composition of the delegation or the specific countries they plan to engage.
