Mahira Khan Reveals Her Relationship with Ex-Husband, Expresses Gratitude for First Marriage

Pakistan’s renowned actress Mahira Khan recently spoke about her personal life and career during an appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast.

She touched on various topics, including her life after marriage, her relationship with her former husband, and her upcoming film “Love Guru.”

Mahira revealed that she maintains a good relationship with her ex-husband Ali and his wife, expressing gratitude for her previous marriage, which brought her the greatest blessing — her son Azlan.

Discussing her current husband, Salim Karim, Mahira said, “We are good friends, and one thing I truly admire about him is that he is exactly the same with me as he is in reality.”

Mahira also addressed a past controversy involving writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar, admitting, “I was at fault in that situation.” She explained that instead of tweeting in anger, she should have contacted him directly, saying, “I was very upset when I tweeted, which escalated the situation.”

Talking about her second marriage, the star of Sadqay Tumharay shared, “I was afraid of getting married again. I worried I might have to quit acting after marriage and was concerned about how my son Azlan would respond.”

Mahira Khan further added that she wanted her new partner to form a sincere bond with her son. “I’m glad my wish came true, and Azlan was actually the one who encouraged me to remarry.”
