PPP MPAs complain to Zardari about Punjab Government’s attitude

Members of the Punjab Assembly belonging to the Pakistan People’s Party met with President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.

The news sources reported that during the meeting, some members of the Punjab Assembly complained about the poor attitude of the provincial government.

The members said that we are not even allowed to go to the 8 Club, PML-N MPAs are present in the 8 Club, our work is not given the same importance as that given to PML-N MPAs, how can we prepare for the local body elections, our plans are extremely slow.

The assembly members complained that the government’s attitude towards us is not fair, that 2 percent of the work is done out of 100, and that too after repeated promises. There are countless people in our constituencies who have not even received a rash card, they are tired of being pushed around.

They said that the PML-N members get the name of whoever they want included. There are also people who have rented out their houses and 4 to 5 people in the house are also receiving monthly payments. What kind of transparency system is this?

Asif Ali Zardari says that I know that there are some people who eat and drink very well themselves, and they and their employees are also getting this facility.

The President said, “I know, they don’t have that much intelligence. They should understand. When times are bad, they fall on their feet. When they find themselves in a position, they hug each other. The formula that was decided is not being implemented in this way.”

Asif Ali Zardari said that I know everything that is happening in Punjab, I know everyone’s position very well, the bureaucracy that has been them for many years, will obey.

The female member of the assembly said that when you come to Lahore, there is an earthquake in the houses. To this, the President said, “I know that if I sit in Lahore for 2 or 3 days, many people start to worry. Currently, there are many constraints due to which we have to walk together for the country.”

Zardari said that we have to take Pakistan forward. The PPP has always taken steps thinking of the interests of the country and the people. We are still fighting for the interests of the country and the people.

Asif Ali Zardari said that we should carry out as much development work as possible. Whenever there are local government or general elections, we have to be ready.

On the complaints of the members of the assembly regarding the internal affairs of the party, Asif Zardari said that both I and Bilawal will sit in Punjab.

He said that the focus will be on organization building in Punjab. We had informed the relevant officials about your concerns. Hopefully, things will be better now, there is no need to worry.
