Sana Yousuf Mother shares horrific details of murder

ISLAMABAD – A murder case has been officially registered in the tragic killing of TikToker Sana Yousuf, who was shot dead in her home in the federal capital on Monday, June 2. The First Information Report (FIR) was lodged on the complaint of Sana’s mother, who gave emotional and painful details of the incident.

According to her statement, the accused entered their house around 5:00 PM. After a short conversation, he opened fire on Sana and immediately fled the scene. Two bullets hit Sana, critically injuring her. She was rushed to the hospital, but despite medical efforts, she could not survive.

The incident happened in the Sumbal police station area of Islamabad. Sana Yousuf, a young woman from Chitral, was active on TikTok and had gained a good following.

Police officials confirmed that the suspect talked to Sana outside the house for some time before the shooting. He then fired twice and ran away. Eyewitnesses and the family say there was no prior warning of violence.

Sana’s body was shifted to PIMS Hospital, where a post-mortem examination was completed. Her remains were handed over to the family for burial.

Authorities believe the suspect may be a relative of the victim. Police have collected evidence from the crime scene, and are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby cameras to help with the investigation. For now, no arrest has been made, but a search is ongoing.
