US President Donald Trump will not sign the G7 summit declaration on Israel-Iran tensions.
According to the news agency, a US official says that President Trump will not sign the declaration of the G7 summit to be held in Canada, the draft of which calls for reducing tensions in the Israel-Iran conflict.
The draft declaration also states that Iran should never have nuclear weapons. Israel has the right to defend itself.
The draft also includes a commitment to protecting market stability, including energy markets.
In a conversation with the British Prime Minister on the sidelines of the G7 summit, Trump said that Iran should sign the agreement and that he was going to make sure that Iran did not have nuclear weapons.
On the other hand, President Trump has decided to cut short his participation in the G7 summit in Canada and return home. He will return to Washington today and attend to important matters.
It should be noted that the G7 meeting began on June 15 and will conclude today.
