Zardari Visits POF Wah, Praises Role in National Defense

President Asif Ali Zardari visited the Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF) Wah, during which he inspected various departments and praised the effective role of POF in strengthening the country’s defense.

The president was welcomed by the chairman of POF Wah, Lieutenant General Tahir Hameed Shah.

President Asif Ali Zardari was briefed on the various production units of POF Wah, technical capabilities, defense production, and the key role of the institution in meeting the country’s defense needs.

The President also visited various production units of the factories. The President appreciated the technical expertise, determination, and professional capabilities of the staff and emphasized that national defense capabilities should be further strengthened in the context of security challenges.
