Gold prices in Pakistan saw an upward trend on Saturday, following a rise in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,465, reaching Rs358,465.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 24-karat gold were priced at Rs307,325, marking a gain of Rs1,256. This rise comes after a drop of Rs1,595 per tola on Friday, when gold closed at Rs357,000.
Internationally, gold prices also edged higher. The global rate of gold per ounce increased by $13, settling at $3,369.
On the other hand, silver prices in Pakistan declined. The price of 24-karat silver per tola fell by Rs11, down to Rs3,785, while 10 grams of silver dropped to Rs3,245.
This recent fluctuation in precious metals highlights the ongoing volatility in both local and international markets.
