Trump Officially Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize 2026

US President Donald Trump has been officially nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2026.

According to American media, Buddy Carter, a Republican member of Congress from Georgia, wrote a letter to the Nobel Committee nominating Donald Trump for the prize.

Trump was nominated in recognition of his role in mediating a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

In the letter, Buddy Carter stated that Trump should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in acknowledgment of his extraordinary and historic role in preventing the world’s biggest state sponsor of terrorism from acquiring the deadliest weapons and in ending the armed conflict between Israel and Iran.

It is worth noting that last month, during the war between Pakistan and India, on May 10, Donald Trump announced that Pakistan and India had agreed to a ceasefire. Trump also announced the ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
