Snooker star Ronnie O’Sullivan and actress Laila Rouass finally got married. This came about ten months after they had ended their on-again, off-again relationship. The couple has been together for 13 years but kept their wedding very low-key.

Ronnie O’Sullivan and Laila Rouass MARRIED: Couple finally tied the knot 10 months after split in low-key town hall ceremony in Shadwell – sharing the pictures on Instagram on Friday
Laila shared this message alongside her post on social media

They exchanged vows at St George’s Town Hall in Shadwell, East London. Laila, 54, shared a photo on Instagram of them smiling outside the town hall with confetti around them. She wrote a heartfelt message about their journey and the importance of human connection.

Laila also spoke about her roots in East London. She mentioned Cable Street, where she was born, and the historical Battle of Cable Street in 1936, where local communities stood against fascism. Laila said she feels deeply connected to this area and plans to be buried there one day. She ended her post with “Free Palestine” and signed off as “Mrs O’Sullivan.”

Friends and fans quickly congratulated the couple online. TV presenter Lisa Snowdon and former Loose Women panellist Saira Khan sent warm wishes.

This is Ronnie’s first marriage. Laila was previously married to Abdeslam Rouass, but they divorced in 2003. Abdeslam was later jailed for fraud.

Recently, there were reports that Ronnie and Laila planned to leave the UK for a fresh start in Dubai. Ronnie is selling his £2 million home in Chigwell, Essex. The couple has been spotted together after their split and appear happy.

Their relationship started in 2011. Ronnie’s father introduced them after Ronnie asked a friend for help to contact Laila. Despite their on-and-off past, the pair became engaged and planned to marry for a long time.

Laila has spoken openly about their ups and downs. She said breakups can be painful but also a chance to grow. The couple’s strong communication helped them reunite after their last split.

Though the road has been rocky, Ronnie and Laila seem committed to this new chapter. They look forward to building a life together, possibly abroad.
