Who Is Tauseef Badshah? Gangster Behind Patna Hospital Shooting Still On The Run

18 July, 2025 11:29

A shocking murder at Paras Hospital in Patna has brought a dangerous name into the spotlight — Tauseef Badshah. He is the man caught on CCTV calmly walking into the hospital and shooting gangster Chandan Mishra inside the ICU.

The video went viral on Thursday, with people comparing Tauseef’s actions to scenes from a Bollywood film. He looked calm, confident, and fearless — even after firing the deadly shots.

Tauseef did not hide his face. He didn’t rush. He fired and walked out as if nothing happened. While his companions ran in panic, he stayed composed.

Who Is Tauseef Badshah?

Tauseef is from Phulwari Sharif, a town in Patna. His background doesn’t suggest a criminal lifestyle. His father owns a hardware shop. His mother is a school teacher. He studied at Saint Karen’s School, a well-known school in the city.

But somewhere in his teenage years, Tauseef entered the world of crime. Police say he already had a criminal record and was booked under the Arms Act in a previous case.

Gang Rivalries Behind the Murder

Police believe this attack was a result of a gang war. Chandan Mishra, the man killed, was once close to gangster Sheru. But after a fight in Bhagalpur Jail, they became enemies. Chandan later formed his own group but still used the name “Sheru Gang.”

Sources say Tauseef was hired to kill Chandan. He is suspected of working as a contract killer and supporting gang operations. His behavior in the video — fearless and cold-blooded — shows signs of a seasoned criminal.

Online Showoff and Gang Pride

Photos and tweets from Tauseef’s social media accounts show he was proud of his gang links. In one post from June, he called himself “👑 तौसीफ बादशाह 👑”, which means “King Tauseef”. After the murder, another picture showed him riding a bike with a pistol raised in victory.

The boldness of this crime has shocked people across Bihar. Many feel law and order is completely missing. One post said, “No need of police or law. Criminals are settling scores in hospitals now.”

Police Action So Far

Police have arrested six people linked to the attack. They are also searching known gang hideouts. However, Tauseef Badshah is still missing. Authorities say he may have escaped from Patna and could be hiding in another state.

The case has raised serious questions about security in hospitals and the rising power of local gangs. With elections near, many people worry that politicians are too busy with campaigns to focus on law enforcement.
