Yamaha bike prices increased after new taxes in Pakistan

Yamaha and Unique increase motorcycle prices in Pakistan
Yamaha has increased the prices of all its motorcycles in Pakistan after the government announced new taxes in the 2025-26 federal budget. One of the key reasons for this hike is the introduction of a New Energy Vehicle (NEV) levy on the auto sector.
The company says rising operational and import costs, along with the new tax structure, have forced them to revise prices. This move comes shortly after Honda and other bike manufacturers also raised their prices.

Here are the updated prices for Yamaha motorcycles:

YB125Z DX – Rs459,500
YBR125 – Rs471,500
YBR125G (Black) – Rs490,500
YBR125G (Matte) – Rs493,500
Model | Old Price (Approx.) | NEV Levy | New Price |
---|---|---|---|
YB125Z | Rs359,502 | Rs4,057 | Rs429,000 |
YB125Z DX | Rs385,063 | Rs4,544 | Rs459,500 |
YBR125 | Rs395,114 | Rs4,462 | Rs471,500 |
YBR125G (Black) | Rs411,037 | Rs4,541 | Rs490,500 |
YBR125G (Matte) | Rs413,541 | Rs4,679 | Rs493,500 |
What This Means for Buyers
These price hikes will make it harder for people, especially daily commuters, to afford Yamaha bikes. The company has a strong market in this segment, so the increased prices could impact many buyers.
This is not the first time Yamaha has raised prices recently. The entire auto industry in Pakistan is adjusting to new taxes and economic challenges, which is putting pressure on both manufacturers and consumers.
