Brazilian cow breaks record with 343 litres of milk in 3 days

A cow in Brazil has made history by producing 343 litres of milk in just three days, according to media reports on Monday.

Normally, a cow produces between 12 and 35 litres of milk in a day. But this amazing cow gave about 114 litres daily — several times more than the average.

Experts say this record was possible because of the cow’s excellent genetics, a balanced diet, good care, and the use of modern farming technology.

The cow belongs to the Holstein-Friesian breed, the most popular dairy breed in the world, famous for producing large amounts of milk. Some Holstein cows can give more than 87 litres in a single day.

In South Asia, buffalo breeds like Murrah and Nili-Ravi are also known for giving high amounts of milk.
