Roblox Shuts Down Schlep’s Account

On August 10, Schlep shared on X (formerly Twitter) that his Roblox account was banned. He also posted screenshots of the legal notice he received from Roblox.

In the notice, Roblox said Schlep’s content included:

• Fake chats that seemed like child-endangerment scenarios

• Sharing personal information

• Moving conversations off Roblox, which breaks safety rules

The company admitted Schlep may have had good intentions. But they said his methods were dangerous and interfered with Roblox’s moderation systems.

Schlep Defends Himself, Calls Out Roblox

One day later, on August 11, Schlep publicly reached out to Senator Ted Cruz. In his post, he asked the senator to discuss child safety on Roblox. He claimed he was a victim of grooming on the platform when he was a child.

Schlep said that instead of fixing safety problems, Roblox is punishing people trying to help. He explained that he often reported cases through official channels, but the company ignored them. He said even when he sent proof to law enforcement, Roblox did not act.

In a recent video, Schlep opened up about his past. He revealed that as a child, he was groomed on Roblox. This led to a suicide attempt. His family contacted Roblox years ago, but he said they did little to help.

Now, Schlep says he feels betrayed. He believes Roblox cares more about its image than real child safety.

Supporters of Schlep have launched online campaigns, using hashtags like #FreeSchlep and #BoycottRoblox. They argue that he is being punished for doing the job Roblox failed to do.
