Bugti Hails US Move to Designate BLA, Majid Brigade as Global Terrorist Groups

Quetta – Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has welcomed the United States’ decision to declare the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and its Majid Brigade wing as global terrorist organizations.

Bugti credited the achievement to the federal government and Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, saying Pakistan’s stance was effectively presented to the US administration.

“The banned BLA and Majid Brigade have shed the blood of innocent civilians,” Bugti said, adding that terrorism in the name of language or rights is unacceptable.

The chief minister emphasised that terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances and that the killing of civilians is an unforgivable crime. He called on the world to unite in eradicating terrorism.
