BISP Conditional Cash for Education 2025 – Stipends, Eligibility & Registration Details
Education is the foundation for progress, giving children the skills, knowledge, and confidence to shape their future. However, in many parts of Pakistan, poverty still forces families to choose between sending children to school or putting them to work.
To tackle this challenge, the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) launched Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, a conditional cash transfer initiative rewarding families when their children regularly attend school. In 2025, the program continues to make a significant difference by linking financial assistance directly to school attendance, particularly encouraging girls’ education.
The scheme covers all stages of schooling, from primary to higher secondary. “The most important condition is regular school attendance,” ensuring support translates into genuine educational improvement.
For 2025, stipend amounts vary by grade and gender — primary school boys receive Rs. 1,500 quarterly, while girls get Rs. 2,000. Secondary boys earn Rs. 2,500, girls Rs. 3,000, and higher secondary boys Rs. 3,500, girls Rs. 4,000. Girls also receive a one-time Rs. 3,000 graduation bonus upon completing higher secondary.
Eligibility requires families to be active BISP Kafalat beneficiaries, have valid NADRA B-Forms, and maintain at least 70% quarterly attendance. Registration is free at local BISP offices.
Beyond financial help, the program reduces dropouts, promotes gender equality in classrooms, and curbs child labor. Challenges remain — cultural barriers, transport issues, and lack of awareness — but BISP continues working with communities to ensure long-term impact.
