Who is Manika Vishwakarma? Rajasthan Girl Crowned Miss Universe India 2025

Jaipur, Monday, August 18, 2025 – Rajasthan’s Manika Vishwakarma has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025. She will now represent India at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand later this year. She received the crown from last year’s winner, Rhea Singha, during a grand finale held in Jaipur.

The Grand Finale Night

The glamorous event took place in Jaipur for the second year in a row. Out of 48 contestants, Manika Vishwakarma was chosen as the winner. Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh was the first runner-up. Mehak Dhingra from Haryana came second runner-up, while Amishi Kaushik took the third runner-up spot.

Who is Manika Vishwakarma?

Manika is from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, and currently lives in Delhi. She is in her final year of a degree in Political Science and Economics. She had earlier won the title of Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024.

Apart from pageantry, Manika is a trained classical dancer and a talented artist. She has received recognition from the Lalit Kala Academy and the JJ School of Arts. She also represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon program organized by the Ministry of External Affairs.

Her Advocacy and Social Work

Manika Vishwakarma is passionate about spreading awareness on neurodivergence. She founded Neuronova, an initiative that focuses on ADHD and other conditions. Her aim is to change how people view such conditions – not as problems, but as unique strengths.

Manika’s Words After Winning

Speaking to ANI, she said, “My journey started from my hometown, Ganganagar. When I came to Delhi, I worked hard and prepared for this stage. Confidence and courage are the keys. I thank everyone who supported me in this journey.”

Judges and Panel

The selection panel included big names such as fashion designer Ashley Rebello, film director Farhad Samji, actress Urvashi Rautela (Miss Universe India 2015), and Rajiv K Shrivastava, founder of Act Now Organisation.

With her talent, vision, and confidence, Manika Vishwakarma is set to make India proud on the Miss Universe 2025 stage in Thailand.
