Who is Muhammad Subhan? Taxila Teen Builds Car Control App With Hand Gestures

19 August, 2025 12:37

A 19-year-old student from Taxila, Muhammad Subhan, has created a new car control app that works with hand gestures. His invention is designed to make driving easier for people with disabilities.

The app connects to a small device installed in the car. Through this device, the car can be controlled directly from a mobile phone. Simple finger and hand gestures are instantly translated into driving commands. This allows full remote control of the vehicle without the need for traditional steering or pedals.

Subhan explained that his goal is to help people with disabilities gain independence in mobility. He believes that with support from the government or auto companies, the app could be upgraded for commercial use.

He also shared that technology should make life easier for people. Whether at home, in offices, or on the road, innovation must solve real-life problems.

Experts welcomed his idea and praised the youth of Pakistan for leading such creative projects. They noted that innovations like this show the potential of young talent in building inclusive technologies. With proper resources, they said, this project could empower communities and strengthen Pakistan’s image in global innovation.
