Fifteen-year-old Theo Lamey made headlines this week after scoring his first ever double century for Somerset Under-18s. The young all-rounder, who stands six feet three inches tall, played a stunning innings against Gloucestershire U18s in a three-day match at Taunton Vale.

His innings lasted almost four and a half hours before he was run out.

There, he finished as the top run-scorer and even set a new individual record with a score of 157. He also played in the 2024 edition of the Bunbury Festival, where he again captained his side.
After his record-breaking innings, Theo quickly returned to Loughborough to join the Young Lions Super 4 competition. He is set to play two T20 games, three 50-over matches, and attend profiling days as part of the event.
