FIFA President Meets Trump as US Prepares for 2026 World Cup

Washington: Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) President met with United States (US) President Donald Trump at the White House.

President Trump announced that the FIFA World Cup 2026 team draws will be held at the Kennedy Center on December 5.

“World football will witness a new historic beginning in Washington,” said President Trump.

He added that the Kennedy Center will kick off the event with great enthusiasm.

“The American team will also participate in this event,” Trump said.

Calling it a milestone, Trump stated that the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the biggest and most complex sporting event in history.
