Who is Haden Pentecost? British Airways Flight Attendant Caught Naked and High on Drugs

A British Airways flight attendant, Haden Pentecost, shocked passengers and crew after being found naked and high on drugs inside a toilet during a flight from California to London.

The 41-year-old cabin crew member looked restless and confused even before the plane took off. Reports said he was sweating, shaking, and speaking strangely. The flight’s manager noticed he could not carry out his safety duties and told him to step down.

Pentecost complained of stomach pain and said he needed to change clothes. He then went into the aircraft toilet and locked the door. Moments later, when a colleague opened the door, he was completely naked and unaware of his condition. A fellow crew member quickly dressed him and moved him to a passenger seat.

According to the court, the captain spoke with Pentecost before calling for medical help. A health professional checked him every 20 minutes until the plane landed at Heathrow Airport. His heart rate was high, his pupils were wide, and he appeared unstable.

When the flight arrived in London, paramedics took Pentecost to hospital. A blood test later confirmed he had methamphetamine and amphetamine in his system.

The incident was presented at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 22. Pentecost admitted he had performed an aviation role while impaired by drugs. The court heard that he had already been fired by British Airways.

The former flight attendant, who lives with his husband in Basingstoke, has been released on bail. He will be sentenced later at Isleworth Crown Court.

British Airways has not given any detailed comment on the case.
