Contesting Texas Elections in 2026
Valentina is running as a Republican candidate for the 31st Congressional District of Texas in the 2026 elections. In her message to voters, she urged, “Help me reach Parliament, so that you never have to face the stones thrown by Muslims.”
This is not the first time Valentina has caused controversy. In December 2024, she made headlines in New York when she pretended to shoot a dummy, which she used as a symbol of immigrants. At that time, she demanded the public hanging of immigrants who commit violent crimes in America.
Social Media Ban
Soon after her Quran-burning video went viral, Instagram deleted her videos and removed her account. Valentina reacted strongly, claiming, “This proves I am the biggest threat to power, because I say what I see.”
She has also attacked other communities.
Who is Valentina Gomez?
Valentina Gomez was born on May 8, 1999, in Medellin, Colombia. Her family moved to the United States in 2009 and settled in New Jersey. She studied at Central Connecticut State University and completed her MBA in 2020.
Apart from academics, Valentina was a professional swimmer. She represented Colombia at the international level as part of the Colombian National Swimming Team.
