WhatsApp Parcel Scam Exposed as Actress Zainab Raza Shares Shocking Experience

A new scam is making rounds across the country, where unsuspecting citizens are falling victim to bank fraud and WhatsApp hacking in the name of parcel deliveries. Actress Zainab Raza recently highlighted this alarming trend by sharing a video on social media.

In her video, Zainab Raza revealed, “A person called me and said his name was Noman, claiming that a parcel had arrived for me.” She explained that while she was busy shooting, she asked him to send a picture of the parcel. Instead, the caller insisted on sending her a WhatsApp code, asking her to share it back in order to receive the parcel.

The actress noted that she initially could not understand the request. However, when the code arrived, she realized the caller’s actual intention was to log into her WhatsApp on another device, which would have locked her out of her own account.

Being alert, Zainab confronted the scammer and demanded his CNIC details. In response, the fraudster hurled abuse and disconnected the call.

Experts warn that many people store sensitive data, including bank account details and PIN codes, on WhatsApp. Scammers can exploit this information to commit fraud or blackmail victims. Authorities urge citizens never to share WhatsApp codes and to verify any parcel claims before responding.
