Sindh Bans Cigarettes, Vape, Chhalia and Gutka in Schools, Colleges

KARACHI – The Sindh Education Department has issued a notification banning the use of cigarettes, vape, betel nut (chhalia), and gutka in all educational institutions across the province.

The restriction applies to students, teachers, administrative staff, and employees in both government and private schools, colleges, and universities.

Officials said strict action will be taken against anyone found using these items on educational premises. The department stated that the decision is aimed at ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for learning.
