Who is Aalia Ayesha Gul? First Woman Appointed as SSP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: In a historic development for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Aalia Ayesha Gul has been appointed as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in the provincial police department — the first woman ever to hold this position.

According to official reports, Aalia Ayesha Gul, a native of Swabi district, has been posted as SSP Investigation Peshawar. The appointment was formalized through a notification issued by the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A member of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) group, Ayesha Gul has previously served in the capacity of AIG Gender. The Grade-18 officer recently returned to Pakistan after completing a professional course abroad.
