Pakistan Passport 2025: List of Visa-Free, Visa-on-Arrival, and ETA Countries
Citizens holding Pakistani passports have different travel options across the globe, depending on each country’s visa policies. As of 2025, Pakistani citizens can enter a total of 31 countries without requiring a prior visa, making international travel easier for many.
According to the latest updates, 11 countries allow visa-free entry for Pakistanis. These include Barbados, Cook Islands, Dominica, The Gambia, Haiti, Micronesia, Montserrat, Rwanda, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vanuatu. Travelers are advised to check local regulations for extended stays or specific travel purposes.
In addition, 18 countries provide visas on arrival to Pakistani citizens, such as Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Comoros, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Maldives, Nepal, Palau, Qatar, Samoa, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, and Timor-Leste. Travelers can obtain visas directly from immigration authorities upon entry.
Pakistani citizens can also access Kenya and Sri Lanka through an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system, which involves an online application process before departure.
Beyond these, Pakistanis are eligible to apply for electronic visas (eVisas) in 55 countries, including Australia, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, UAE, and Vietnam. The process requires filling an online form, uploading documents, paying the fee, and receiving approval via email.
For the remaining destinations, including major countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, China, India, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, Pakistani travelers must apply for a conventional visa before departure.
Officials have advised that visa policies are subject to change due to new agreements, travel restrictions, or global regulations. Therefore, travelers should verify the latest requirements with relevant embassies or consulates before making plans.
