How to Apply for an RLNG Gas Connection in Pakistan? Step-by-Step Guide
The government has finalized a comprehensive plan to provide Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) connections to domestic consumers to meet the country’s growing energy demand.
The decision was made during a meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik. The session reviewed the rollout plan for providing RLNG connections to households.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary Petroleum, Additional Secretary, Director General Gas, representatives of OGRA, and the Managing Directors of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL).
According to the statement, the application process for RLNG connections will be simplified to ensure convenience and transparency. Consumers can apply through traditional methods at local offices or online via the official websites and mobile applications of the Sui companies.
Documents Required for RLNG Application:
- Completely filled-in application form
- Copy of CNIC of applicant
- Approved plan/letter, drawing & completion plan
- Attested copy of property/ownership documents; for tenants, tenancy agreement along with NOC from landlord/landlady
- Original NOC from society/relevant authority (if applicable)
- Affidavit/undertaking on Rs. 100/- stamp paper
- Duly filled-in RLNG contract form

Important Note: SSGCL has not authorized any contractor to collect or submit applications or payments on behalf of applicants. All submissions must be made directly at the respective SSGCL offices with complete documents.
