23 September, 2025 09:56

New York: During the international conference on the two-state solution for Palestine, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan called it a historic opportunity to achieve peace in the Middle East. He strongly supported the creation of an independent Palestinian state and praised France’s recent decision to recognize Palestine.

“The two-state solution is the only path to lasting peace,” said Prince Faisal during his address. He emphasized that the international community must act now to end the suffering of Palestinians and bring justice to the region.

Prince Faisal welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron’s move to officially recognize the State of Palestine, calling it a powerful message of support for justice.

He also condemned Israel’s ongoing actions in Gaza, describing them as brutal crimes. “Israel continues its aggression not only in Gaza, but also in the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem,” he said.

He urged the world to stand with the Palestinian people and take real steps toward ending occupation, violence, and injustice. Recognizing Palestine, he added, is not just political — it reflects a moral commitment to justice.
