Sindh Opens Free Pink Electric Scooters Lottery Applications for Women – Here’s How to Apply

KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced the eligibility criteria and application process for its free electric scooters scheme, aimed at empowering women and addressing mobility challenges across the province.

According to the details, the scheme is open to permanent residents of Sindh who are either students or employed women. Applicants must also hold a valid driving license.

Women selected through the lottery will not be allowed to sell the scooter for seven years. Additionally, all successful candidates must pass a road safety and skills test to ensure safe use of the electric scooters.

The distribution of scooters will be carried out through a transparent lottery system supervised by a committee comprising representatives from the Excise, Transport, and Finance departments, along with media personnel.

Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website, completing the application form, attaching the required documents, and submitting it online.
