OpenAI introduces low-cost GPT-5 access in Pakistan via ChatGPT Go

OpenAI has rolled out its ChatGPT Go subscription plan to 16 more Asian countries, including Pakistan, giving users a cheaper way to use GPT-5 and other premium features.

ChatGPT chief Nick Torley shared the news on social media platform X, saying the expansion comes after many users requested a more budget-friendly plan.

The ChatGPT Go plan was first launched earlier this year in India and Indonesia, and is now available in: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, East Timor, Vietnam, and Pakistan.

What ChatGPT Go Offers

According to OpenAI, the new plan aims to make its latest AI model, GPT-5, more accessible to a wider audience. It includes all the features of the free version, along with:

• Expanded image generation tools

• File uploads and data analysis

• Higher usage limits for faster, smoother access

ChatGPT Go pricing in Pakistan

In Pakistan, ChatGPT Go costs Rs. 1,400 per month, making it much cheaper than other plans. For comparison:

• ChatGPT Plus: Rs. 5,700/month

• ChatGPT Pro: Rs. 49,900/month

• Business Plan: Rs. 8,499/month

The introduction of ChatGPT Go gives users in Pakistan and other Asian countries a more affordable way to explore OpenAI’s latest AI tools and features.
